Storiths
10'x8'
This plan is designed to replicate one of my favourite model railways from childhood, upstairs at 'Buffers' cafe in Storiths, North Yorkshire. The cafe (which still serves good food and drinks) also sold model railway items, and the whole upstairs was devoted to several layouts that worked using a push-button. This example is action-packed and allows for a range of traffic to operate, with a change of levels in the top right hand corner providing some scenic interest. I would anticipate that passenger trains use the inner loop, moving from the bay platforms to the station halt in the top left corner, with freight using the outer loop and goods yard.
