This is a station I have always wanted to model, but never had the space. The station, at the lower end of the Settle to Carlisle line, also acts as the junction to the Grassington branch, depicted in the centre of the plan. A central access hole allows all tracks to be reached, with a small run round loop (and very small gravel terminal) on the branch line. Skipton station is on the top part of the plan, with one island platform and a large station building. The terminating platform (top right corner) could be used for Northern DMUs, or even EMUs if you like building kits, and the siding top left could be used for goods wagons or charter steam locos resting after a long shift on the Settle - Carlisle line.
