This West Coast Main Line layout has Oxenholme's distinctive stone station building at the top part of the plan, with the branch to Windermere along the top side. Windermere's single platform could even be incorporated onto the end of the branch line, bottom right. The sidings to the bottom left can be used for parking infrastructure trains while Pendolinos and AC electrics shoot past on the mainline.
