This mainline layout moves the standard oval design onto the diagonal, leaving room in the top left and bottom right corners for plenty of sidings. A loco depot is located in the bottom right corner, while a goods shed provides a loading facility for any number of different freight types. A busy mainline station, similar to Newark or Peterborough, forms the main attraction in terms of scenery and train movements.
