Building on Plan #1, this design adds a second platform, passing loop within the station and extra sidings. This should allow a variety of passenger and freight trains to operate the line, with ample opportunity for shunting and rearranging wagons into different formations. The goods train can then be passed through the goods shed for loading and unloading. As befits this larger station, a more urban setting could be used for the scenic work, with a footbridge and full set of station facilities completing the scene. An alternative to the goods shed could be a loco shed, home to the resident tank engine.
