Based on one of Peter Marriott’s layouts in Model Rail #42, this layout allows you to squeeze in a West Highland station into a board size of only 54”x42”. There are a few small sections of 1st radius track, but the majority of the layout is 2nd radius minimum. A hole in the centre of the layout provides access, should the layout be placed in the corner of a room.
