With a passenger station on the upper level and loco stabling facilities on the lower level, this type of plan has been the basis of many model railways over the years. The exact arrangements can be tweaked to fit your requirements, or even substituted for freight sidings. Twin running lines provide plenty of chance to ‘watch the trains go by’.
