This simple oval is another step up from the basic train set, but is based on the actual station plan from East Anglia. I would imagine either 'One' express trains or Britannias in the 1950s (or more likely a combination of both). The station is located on the bottom part of the board, with a goods train stored in the passing loop at the top of the plan. When the express on the inner loop is parked up, the goods train can run through to the station and shunt wagons - either steam age vans or modern gravel hoppers. The two crossovers (including the curved crossover top right) mean that a train on either oval can run around the train, before setting off in the opposite direction.
