This layout accommodates both the Alcan freight terminal at the top of the plan, and Cambois depot inside the loop. There is also room for an access hole in the centre of the board, and a run-around loop is provided in the lower left corner. This location has always fascinated me, and if modelling it I'd choose the 1980s period - still lots of loco movements and freight traffic, but the depot can be portrayed in a run-down and rusting state.
