On a 4x2 baseboard, this dockside terminus could either be used for freight traffic (in its current form) or extended with a fiddle yard to make room for passenger trains. The arrangement of several sidings provides plenty of opportunity for shunting and rearranging wagons, and the opposite-facing siding (middle right) also presents some operational challenges. I would opt for very small tank engines and 16T mineral wagons on a compressed track plan such as this.
