Seven Sidings
4'x1'
If you’re a fan of shunting for shunting’s sake then this might be the plan for you, with a short passing loop and a total of seven sidings (including the short spur that goes off-scene). This is most suited to an industrial location, with each siding being used to store a different commodity. The operator, bringing in a mixed train of several wagons, then has to exchange ‘full’ wagons for ‘empty’ ones, and vice versa the next time around. Although there is little room for anything other than railway tracks, some low relief warehousing around the edge will help set the scene.
